Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p>The Northeast Iowa Workforce Development Board provides visionary leadership and oversight to workforce development in the Northeast Iowa Local Workforce Development Area (LWDA) consisting of Allamakee, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Grundy, Hancock, Howard, Mitchell, Winnebago, Winneshiek, and Worth counties.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" height=\"419\" width=\"800\" title=\"NEIWFD-area-of-service-map-DRAFT-all-names\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading='lazy' \/>\n\t<p>The Northeast Iowa Workforce Development Board is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and one of Iowa&#8217;s six local workforce development boards.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Local Leaders<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/board-members#CEO\">CEO members<\/a> are elected officials from the twenty county area, while <a href=\"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/board-members\/\">Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB) members<\/a> are leaders from business, labor, economic development, government, public assistance, education, youth and community based organizations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/juAXERBRolM\/maxresdefault.jpg\" alt=\"youtube-video-thumbnail\"\/>\n\t<h2>Current Northeast Iowa Vision<\/h2>\n<p>Northeast Iowa Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB) will serve as a strategic leader and convener of local workforce development system stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>The LWDB will partner with employers and the local workforce development system to develop policies and investments that support public workforce system strategies that support:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>The local economy;<\/li>\n<li>The development of effective approaches including local and regional sector partnerships and career pathways; and<br \/>\nHigh quality, customer centered service delivery and service delivery approaches.<\/li>\n<li>In partnership with the CEO Board, the LWDB will set policy for the portion of the statewide workforce development system within the Area and consistent with State policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Current Strategic Goals<\/h2>\n<p>Northeast Iowa LWDB will work to achieve the following goals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>The Area&#8217;s employers will have access to advanced, skilled, diverse, and Future Ready workers.<\/li>\n<li>All Iowans in the Area will be provided access to a continuum of high-quality education, training, and career opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>The Area&#8217;s one-stop delivery system will align all programs and services in an accessible, seamless, and integrated manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Northeast
