{"id":54,"date":"2024-01-22T09:30:53","date_gmt":"2024-01-22T15:30:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/?page_id=54"},"modified":"2024-04-24T21:00:47","modified_gmt":"2024-04-25T02:00:47","slug":"core-partners","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/lab2023\/core-partners\/","title":{"rendered":"Core Partners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p>WIOA consists of four core programs, or &#8220;Titles.&#8221; Titles I-IV, administered by Iowa Workforce Development are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Title I\u00a0Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Title II\u00a0Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Title III\u00a0Employment Service program under the Wagner-Peyser Act<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Title IV\u00a0Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">Iowa Department for the Blind also administers Title IV services separate from Iowa Workforce Development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Title I Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth<\/h2>\n<p>These programs funded under WIOA, offer a range of employment and training services to eligible individuals. Including job search assistance, skills development, and support for individuals enrolled in the program.<\/p>\n<p>**Title I Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth Service Provider: Coming Soon<\/p>\n<h2>Title II Adult Education and Literacy<\/h2>\n<p>These programs focus on enhancing the fundamental skills of adults, contributing to the educational dimension of the one-stop delivery system. They deliver instruction in literacy, numeracy, English language learning, and other educational services. The primary objective is to address the basic skills and English language requirements of individuals and job seekers accessing One-Stop Centers. Title II programs employ CASAS testing to assess the basic skill levels of adult job seekers. They then connect these individuals to training programs related to literacy, computer skills, high school completion, and English language acquisition. Classes are available both online and in person to accommodate students&#8217; accessibility needs, ensuring they can pursue education through AEL programs in a manner that suits their preferences and requirements.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Title II partners:<\/h3>\n<p>North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niacc.edu\/business-and-workforce-solutions\/adult-literacy\/\">https:\/\/www.niacc.edu\/business-and-workforce-solutions\/adult-literacy\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hawkeye Community College (HCC)\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawkeyecollege.edu\/business-community\/adult-education\">https:\/\/www.hawkeyecollege.edu\/business-community\/adult-education<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicc.edu\/academics\/adult-education\/esol\/\">https:\/\/www.nicc.edu\/academics\/adult-education\/esol\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Title III Wagner-Peyser<\/h2>\n<p>These services connect job seekers with employment opportunities and provide labor market information. This program helps in job matching, recruitment, and workforce information dissemination.<\/p>\n<h2>Title IV Vocational Rehabilitation Programs<\/h2>\n<p>Title IV programs support individuals with disabilities in achieving employment outcomes.
