One-stop partners administer separately funded programs as a set of integrated streamlined services to customers.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/lab2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/IowaWorks-logo-AJC-2.png\" alt=\"IowaWorks logo with the text a &quot;proud partner of the American Job Center network.&quot;\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"IowaWorks logo - AJC (2)\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>Through the one-stop system, partner programs and their service providers ensure that businesses and job seekers &#8211; a shared client base across the multiple programs &#8211; have access to information and services that lead to positive employment outcomes. Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the one-stop system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Provides job seekers with the skills and credentials necessary to secure and advance in employment with family-sustaining wages;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Provides access and opportunities to all job seekers, including individuals with barriers to employment, such as individuals with disabilities, to prepare for, obtain, retain, and advance in high-quality jobs and high-demand careers;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Enables businesses and employers to easily identify and hire skilled workers and access other supports, including education and training for their current workforce;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Participates in rigorous evaluations that support continuous improvement of one-stop centers by identifying which strategies work better for different populations;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Ensures that high-quality integrated data inform decisions made by policymakers, employers, and job seekers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The management of the one-stop delivery system is the shared responsibility of States, local boards, elected officials, the core WIOA partners, other required partners, and one-stop center operators.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Four Northeast Iowa LWDA Centers<\/h2>\n<p>The Local Workforce Development Area is made up of three comprehensive centers (<a href=\"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/office-location\/dubuque-office\/\">Dubuque<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/office-location\/mason-city-office\/\">Mason City<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/office-location\/waterloo-office\/\">Waterloo<\/a>) and one affiliate center (<a href=\"https:\/\/neiaworkforce.org\/office-location\/decorah-office\/\">Decorah<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>A comprehensive one-stop center, also known as the American Job Center (AJC) or the Iowa<em>WORKS<\/em>\u00a0Center in Iowa, is a physical location where job seeker and employer customers can access the programs, services, and activities of all required one-stop partners.<\/p>\n<p>An Affiliated Site or a network of affiliated sites, where one or more partners make programs, services, and activities available.<\/p>\n<h2>What Iowa<em>WORKS<\/em> Centers Provide<\/h2>\n<p>To find out
