Northeast Iowa Request for Proposals (RFP) for Single Audit Services

The Northeast Iowa Workforce Development Board (NEIWDB) is seeking proposals from qualified independent public accounting firms to perform a Single Audit in compliance with the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996, the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200, Subpart F), and all applicable federal and state regulations.

The audit will cover the program year ending June 30, 2024, and will include an examination of federal WIOA funds administered by the Board. These audit services will support compliance, transparency, and financial accountability, while also assisting in forecasting future expenditures for effective planning and fund allocation.

NEIWDB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit local workforce development board operating under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The board oversees workforce development initiatives across 20 counties in Northeast Iowa, including: Allamakee, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Grundy, Hancock, Howard, Mitchell, Winnebago, Winneshiek, and Worth counties.
